One of Sweden's most important and loved queens is relatively unknown to most, despite the fact that she ruled Sweden as regent for several years when the king was absent, and that is Queen Philippa, daughter of the English king Henry IV and sister of Henry V.
Queen Philippa was married with the Danish-Swedish-Norwegian king Erik of Pomerania.
