1523: Why was Gustav Vasa elected king in Strängnäs and not at the Mora stone?

Yesterday, Sweden celebrated its national day. My family and I were in Strängnäs where the king and queen were also there to hold the big national day celebration, this together with the prime minister and the minister of culture.
